Todd Townes – Todd is a Top 100 Trainer and Co-Founder of Golf Performance Partners

Todd holds and undergraduate degree in Exercise Science with continued graduate studies in Corporate Health Promotion from the University of Mississippi.

Todd is recognized as a leader in the Corporate Health Management Industry and has been providing premium service to the Atlanta market since 1993. He is founder and co-chairman of the Choicepoint Windward Challenge, a 5K road race which has raised over $500,000 to benefit missing and exploited children.

Todd holds advanced certifications in Performance Enhancement Training, Active Flexibility Training and Sports Specific Speed Training. Todd specializes in Golf Biomechanics, strength and conditioning and rehabilitation as they relate to golf. Todd is also a former collegiate golfer and golf instructor. His unique understanding of the golf swing and functional training techniques to enhance individual performance has made him one of the top strength and conditioning coaches for golf in the country.

Todd has worked with Professional athletes on the PGA Tour, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB and collegiate athletes in all sports, and was recognized as one of the top 100 Trainers in America by Men’s Journal 2005 and 2006.

Jon Tattersal

Partner / Director of Golf

Jon Tattersall – Jon is on GOLF Magazine’s Top 100 Teachers in America and a Co- Founder of Golf Performance Partners

Jon is a member of the PGA of America and former British PGA member. Born in England, Jon moved to the United States in 1988. He began his career as an assistant professional at CCNC in Pinehurst, NC. In 1996 he focused exclusively on his passion for teaching. In 1998 Jon moved to Atlanta to open The Gary Smith Learning Center. After years of working with Golf Performance specialist, Todd Townes to improve client’s performance Todd and Jon formed Golf Performance Partners in 2006.

In addition to helping countless recreational golfers around the world attain their goals in golf, Jon has coached winners on PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, European Tour, Champions Tour, LPGA Tour, members of the European Ryder Cup team and Solheim Cup Team.

Jon is also a member of Nike Golf’s Bill Bowerman advisory staff

In the 2007/2008 survey GOLF Magazine recognized Jon in its “Top 100 Teachers in America”. In previous years he was ranked “Top Teacher by Region” in the Southeast for 2002/2003 & 2004/2005. GOLF DIGEST named Jon the “7th Best Teacher in Georgia” in its 2005/2006 survey.

Brian Yee

Director of Physical Therapy

Brian Yee PT, MPhty, OCS earned his Master of Physical Therapy degree at Northwestern University in 1999 and, in 2003, successfully completed the Master of Physiotherapy–Manipulative Coursework program at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.

Specialty training during this year included manual and manipulative therapy, neurodynamics, ‘local’ stabilization facilitation, real-time ultrasound imaging, pain sciences, and whiplash associated disorders.

Brian is a part-time Clinical Instructor at Georgia State University involved in the Orthopedic Physical Therapy curriculum. He is also performing clinical research concerning neurodynamics and real-time ultrasound imaging for lumbo-pelvic stabilization. Additionally, Brian clinically practices specializing in recurring back and neck pain, as well as biomechanical extremity injuries.

Brian is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) – Orthopedic Section, the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT), and a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). He is also the founder of Motion Stability, LLC, an organization to train professionals and patients to reduce recurrent spinal and extremity pain.

Stacy Hosp

Director of Stretch Therapy

Stacy Hosp earned her Masters of Physical Therapy in 1999 from Northwestern University.

She specializes in the treatment of chronic conditions, prenatal/postpartum care, diagnosis of core weaknesses, and advanced flexibility therapy. Stacy also provides in/off season care for professional athletes of the NFL, MLB, NBA, PGA, and LPGA.

Amateur athletes including golfers, squash players, and Ironman triathletes trust Stacy for their preventive and post-rehab care. With her unique understanding of the needs of athletes, Stacy works with her clients to ensure that minor aches don’t become major problems. Also, she works with post-rehab clients who have had surgeries from hip replacements to spinal fusions to optimize their athletic performance and quality of life.

Stacy has been a national instructor for the American Physical Therapy Association for her work in innovative core training. She has also been a guest lecturer for prominent graduate programs in physical therapy. She is the founder of Full Extent, flexibility specialists, and the co-founder of GraviCore Education Programs, continuing education for physical therapists.

Nick Garrity

Director of Performance

Nick holds an undergraduate degree in Athletic Training and a Master’s degree in Exercise Science from Springfield College in Springfield, MA.

Nick has worked with professional athletes on the PGA Tour, NFL, MLB, NHL, and NBA. He also has experience working as a Division I Strength and Conditioning Coach at Marist College in New York.

Nick holds certifications with the National Strength and Conditioning Association, National Athletic Trainer’s Association, USA Weightlifting Association, and is a Certified Titleist Performance Institute Coach. He has over 10 years of experience working with elite level athletes of all ages.

Nick specializes in strength and conditioning techniques specific to the golf swing. He has a thorough understanding of strength, balance, coordination and flexibility as they pertain to the biomechanics of the golf swing.

Mike Perpich

Top 100 Teacher Golf Magazine

Mike Perpich has 29 years of experience instructing, coaching and advising golfers. Mike has instructed top players at every level of competitive golf including the PGA and LPGA tours. Mike is currently the Director of Instruction at River Pines Golf in Alpharetta, GA. Mike is a Golf Magazine Top 100 Instructor, a Georgia PGA Teacher of the Year and a US Kids Top 50 Kids Teachers.

Mike has been recognized by Golf Digest as one of Georgia’s top instructors and has appeared on the Golf Channel’s Academy Live show. He has written instructional articles for Golf Magazine, Sports Illustrated Plus Magazine, Georgia Golf News, Japan Weekly Golf Digest and Fore Magazine. He is a member of the Titleist Leadership Advisory Staff and has teamed with Eye Line Golf to produce a teaching aid. Mike also has volunteered his time to the Eastlake Junior Golf Foundation in Atlanta and Camp All-American

Troy Macisak

Director of Tennis

Troy Macisak: USPTA P-1 instructor has spent 10 years as a Tennis Director with James Creek Tennis Center, and The Concourse Athletic Club.

Troy produced the mental toughness video “Conquer Yourself /Conquer Tennis” featuring Luke Jensen ESPN Anchor and French Open Doubles Champion. He publishes Mental Toughness Articles for “Tennis Players Network” Troy won the 2003 All Court Award from the Georgia Professional Tennis Association.

Troy’s on court accomplishments include ACTA Pro League Champions 2002, (2)WSUC Team and Doubles Conference Championships while attending the University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse. Troy will work with you on optimal swing path and positioning through 2D Video Lessons, and 3D Free Body Motion Detection. “I approach coaching players through the modern game of Player Development. With this great technology in video and motion detection improvements are guaranteed.” Troy has worked with all levels of players including ATP and collegiate players on the Mental, Technical, Tactical, and Physical aspects of the game.

Mitch Cook

Mitch Cook – Director of Retail

Mitch’s golf career began at the Doublegate Country Club in Albany GA. As a former Director of Golf at White Columns Country Club, Mitch provided support in merchandising and membership sales.
At White Columns, he was also instrumental in starting a Custom Golf Club fitting program thru the use of ‘Launch Monitor’. Mitch prides himself on helping members’ select proper equipment and apparel. He is a member of the Professional Golfers Association. “In the end, you will realize that you love golf because of what it teaches you about yourself.”.
